SUMMARY
The design challenge was fitting 4 health indicator lights into the width of a traditional NIC computer board bracket.
Due to the limited space, there was light bleed and optical crosstalk from one lens to the other.
Competitiors had tried various ways without the success of eliminating the bleed, including painting the light pipe elements with reflective paint.
DIALIGHT SOLUTION
Dialight provided a quad level, high-density light pipe with completely enclosed elements using a snap-on housing technique, which effective eliminated the light bleed and optical crosstalk while still meeting the stringent space requirements.
