The application required a light pipe that was circuit board mountable and worked together with a SMD LED.
The circuit board ran parallel with the front panel where the indication was required.
The indicator needed to match the appearance of other audio products offered by the manufacturer.
DIALIGHT SOLUTION
After a thorough technical review, Dialight proposed a solution from the circuit board mounted vertical light pipe series.
This light pipe features a 3mm diameter, domed lens with a diffused finish.
Combined with a surface mount LED from the 597 series, we matched the brightness, visibility, and overall look of the other audio products offered.
